Care to Dance

Leap of Joy hosts the 4th annual Care to Dance performance event on May 15th at The Boyd Vance Theater!  The event brings our students from Austin area schools together to perform for the community. Leap of Joy is an Austin nonprofit moving to give at-risk youth empowerment through dance and performance arts. Care to Dance is the premiere event of the year for students of all ages to perform pieces created during the school year.  They include a variety of comedy, dance styles and musical theater pieces. Doors open at 1:30 pm with a performance by Girls Rock Camp, followed by the main performance at 2:00 pm. Leap of Joy hopes to raise funds for this event by asking for a $5 suggested donation at the door, but it is not mandatory and all ages are welcome! Visit www.leapofjoy.org/caretodance/for more information.
